Speaking of Algol
If you miss out on the minima of Algol, you might like to follow Algol, and other variable stars, using the images from the STEREO spacecraft.Here are an old post where I follow Algol in this way (here) , and you might be interested in this old post, where I make animations of the variable RW Taurii (graphs here)

You and I may have debated about the Earth's cooling this century, but your variable star studies are outstanding.
How do you do this with the STEREO spacecraft? I have tried to follow along with your blogs, but I still do not know how to reproduce your outstanding results.
