Southern Skywatch February 2009 edition is now up!
Mercury, the Moon, Jupiter and Mars make a fantastic grouping in the early morning sky on February 23.
The February edition of Southern Skywatch is now up. There is a lot of planetary action, but unfortunately most of it occurs in the early morning, when Mercury (at its best in the morning this month), Jupiter and Mars dance with each other. There is also comet Lulin, crescent Venus, a penumbral lunar eclipse, a difficult occultation of Antares and transits of Titan.
A very interesting and busy month this month.
