Say Goodbye to STEREO
STEREO, the Solar TErrestrial Relations Observatory, is a pair of spacecraft that will provide 3D measurements of the Sun. They have been zapping around the Earth and Moon building uop momentum to get into theri final orbits, and tonight they make their final perihelion pass of the Earth. Unforntunately, the brightest they get is around 9th magnitude, so you wuill need a telescope to see them. This site gives info on how to observe the satellites as they swing aroun dthe Earth.
