Southern Skywatch Up

The September edition of Southern Skywatch is up now. This month we have an occultation of Uranus, a partial lunar eclipse, and sundry other planet shenannigans. Don't forget tonight and tomorrow night there might be some Pavonid meteors from comet Levy.

Comments:
Hi Ian
I was looking at your details for the Lunar Eclipse.
As far as I can tell, Darwin will see all of the eclipse ?
Can you confirm this please
Thanks
GAA_IAN

Yes, Darwin will see all of the eclipse, why I left it balnk in Skywatch is a mystery to me.I think I misread the Almanac listing

Thanks Ian, glad for the confirmation.
I have just let the town know it will be good to look at, in the early Hrs of Friday Morning for the early risers !

I've fixed the timing table at Southern Skywatch so that Darwin is now included. See also this post
