Venus, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter Line-up; 26 April 2011
Venus, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter form a line in the early morning sky (6:15 am 26 April), as a jet contrail passes through. You will need to click to embiggen to see Mars.
I've been trying to get an image of the line-up for days now, but either bad weather or other issues prevented me. I finally got this image standing on the beach, looking back towards Largs North.
And wouldn't you know it, bad weather is forecast for the days when the Moon joins them.
