The LRO photographs the Apollo Landers
In time for the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has taken stunning images of the Apollo landing sites. You can even see the astronauts tracks to the instruments at the Apollo 14 site. Here's the Bad Astronomer's take on these pictures, and Tom's.
