Science Week Podcasts
Stuart beat me to this (hey, I've been trying to finish writing grants okay), so I will send you over to his blog for a selection of great podcasts from Science Week.

The Australian podcasts are really cool - I like Dr Karl's phone-in as he has a lot of enthusiasm. For some reason I prefer his triple j phone-in to the BBC Radio Five Live version.
I've also been comparing and contrasting the use of language between the UK/Australia/US/Canada science podcasts. I was pleasantly suprised that we all share lots of odd little phrases. Perhaps this is to be expected though, as here in the UK we get a lot of imported US TV shows and a bit of Australian programming too. As a youngster, quite a few of my favourite kids programmes were Australian.
