Comet C/2014 Q2 Lovejoy is closest to Earth Tonight (7 January 2015)

(10:00 pm) ACDST in South Australia. Comet C/2014 Q2 Lovejoy is to the left of Rigel. Similar views will be seen elsewhere
at the equivalent local time (click to embiggen).
Tonight (7 January 2015), comet C/2014 Q2 Lovejoy is closest to Earth. It will not be at it's brightest until; the 11th, but with the waning Moon rsing later, it is a good time to observe this comet.
Of course, I am clouded out.
