Taken with my Canon IXUS 6 second exposure, 3x zoom. Click to embiggen. You can see how far Mars has moved in two hours.

The Moon is close to Mars tonight. The view of the line up of Spica, Mars and the Moon, and Saturn, leading up the the curl of Scorpio is quite beatiful.

If you get your telescope out, you can practise for the occultation of Saturn tomorrow.
