I Slept Through the Orionids
I meant to get up, I really did, but after the Bettdeckererschnappender Weisle and I listened PlanningLady's PhD presentation (and chatted and drank and totaly miised Fellowship of teh Ring on TV) it was really late, so I woke up to find it was 5 am.I went out anyway, and observed for half an hour before the cloud came over. Didn't see any meteors but did see the crescent Moon near Mars (image Left). Some people saw meteors though.
