Comet 103P Hartley near NGC 2423
Comet 103P near the open cluster NGC2423. The image is a shot from Global Rent a Scope GRAS-05 (click to embiggen).The image is a stack of 3 x 30 second images stacked in Image J using Z projection of maximum intensity and a bit of contrast fiddling.
As always, Rolando Ligustri does it better.
