More Images of the Line-up
Venus glows in the center of this image from the evening of Saturday 31 July, complimenting Thursdays image. To the top is Mars (left) and Saturn (right). Down below, just above the palm frond, is Mercury. You definitely should click on the image to embiggen it (especially to see Mercury).
The sky still has a lot more planetary high-jinks in store for us. Venus climbs higher for a sparkly rendezvous, while Mercury becomes more prominent and then the Moon joins the mix.
