The Heart of the Milky Way, with added Meteors
Go see this animation, taken at a Texas star party, which is a time-lapse animation of the rise of the core of the Milky Way, with meteors occasionally shooting through. It's brilliant!

I saw this vid a few months ago and it made me cry!!:)
I live in Chennai, India and I guess the light pollution is very bad, and every single night from july first week has been cloudy so not really ideal for astronomy.
Anyway, I wanna know if i would be able to see the milky way on a clear night!? And I don't have an estimate on the light pollution level but I guess it is moderately high.
