Southern Skywatch March 2009 edition is now up!
The Crescent Moon is next to Jupiter on the morning of March 23.
The March edition of Southern Skywatch is now up. This is the farewell edition. There is the farewell to Venus, farewell to Mercury, farewell to comet Lulin, and farewell to Mira.
In the meantime, there is the opposition of Saturn, another transit of Titan and Jupiter is getting better all the time.

Dylan, if you get out now and have a look, you should see it (provided you ave a strong enough telescope, it's only magnitude 11, see this post)
Chiver, happy birthday for then.
