December 2008 Southern Skywatch Up
The western horizon at around one and a half hours after sunset on Monday, December 1, 2008 as seen from the southern hemisphere.The December issue of Southern Skywatch is now up. We have a terrific line-up of Venus, Jupiter and the Moon, the Geminid Meteor shower, the maximum of the variable star Mira and finish the month off with an occultation of Jupiter.
