Mercury in the Morning
The eastern horizon in the southern hemisphere, around an hour before sunrise.
While you are up looking at Comet Boattini, wait a little while and you can see Mercury rise above the mists of the horizon. This is a very good time to see Mercury, not only is it rather high in the sky and easy to spot, but it is in very attractive territory, just below Alderbaran.
Now if it were not solidly cloudy here.
