Happy Aphelion Everyone!

Tonight at 15 hours UT, the Earth will be at aphelion, the furthest part of its orbit. That translates to the morning of Tuesday July 5 at 1 am in the Eastern states, 11 pm Monday night in Western Australia.

Of course, here in SA it is freezing cold, so feels like we are furthest from the Sun.

Tip of the hat to Stuart.
