And How Did Earth Hour Go?

Earth Hour was pretty much an astronomical non-event. Even the sky didn't get much dimmer over the city. Compare the just before and towards the end photos, apart from some darkening of twilight, not much happens.

It was pretty awesome here in Fregon, desert south australia. Saturn was terrific- much better than watching telly!
