When it Rains, It Pours
My astronomical efforts have been taking a bit of a beating recently, cloud, cloud and more cloud.
But at least we got some much needed rain (all 50 mm of it). Woo-Hoo! Back home in Brisbane, that would be a brisk afternoon shower. Here it Adelaide, streets were flooded, houses flooded, and traffic came to a standstill.
Made going to work in the morning interesting. I and some other passengers took photos of the more "interesting" sections of the road.
More flooded streets.
Really flooded streets. The Electrical substation was awash too. A few more mm and we could have had some interesting blackouts.
