Laser elevators OR xkcd has a blog
image copyright xkcdRummaging around on the intertubes, I found that the canonical geek web comic, xkcd, has a blog (or blag as he calls it). Now, I find xkcd to be side splittingly funny (and insightful), but it’s not to everyone’s taste. Nonetheless, I think you might find this discussion of laser elevators relevant to my previous laser pointer post . A laser elevator is where you use laser to lift an object into orbit (or power a star sail).
