Comet Crash!
Image Credit NASA/SOHOJust goes to show what happens when you aren't paying attention, back on Friday 8 June, about when we were heading for Naracoorte, a sun grazer comet headed in for a close pass to the Sun ... and didn't make it back out. There is an animation here (1 Mb). CometAl also has a nice composite image from SECCHI/STEREO in his gallery.
