Update on Sunspt Group 904
Sunspot group 904 is growing, and is now big enough to see with safe solar projection techniques. It is even visible to the unaided eye (as a dot) when safely behind eclipse-grade solar film (never look at the sun directly). WHile tempted to drag out the reflecter and web-cam, I was seduced by gardening and playing basketball with the kids instead. Although of substantial size, we are unlikley to get much geomagnetic action from this group. Here is a stunning image of this group.
