Image Credit, IPS.Well, the Kp index only went to 5 in Hobart (but it stayed there for a while), which mirrored pretty much what happened in the rest of Australia. At least there wasn't a magnificent aurora display completely obscured by clouds. To console yourself, read this article about the weird Space Weather we have been having.
