Venus and Mercury on the Night of 11 January, 2015

In all the excitement of comet Lovejoy yesterday the Venus-Mercury conjunction goit eft out.

But I saw it, and it was beautiful. You may wish to click on the picture to embiggen to see Mercury more clearly.

Of course, it is raining again.
