The Good News is...
... that there have been no reports of death or serious injury after cyclone Yasi despite widespread devastation. Even though the storm has moved far inland, it is still rated as a category 1 cyclone, and is still quite dangerous. Spare a thought for the people of Northern Queensland, and donate to the Disaster Relief Appeal if you can.
