More Images of 2010 V1
Down below are some recent images of Comet C/2010 V1 (Ikeya-Murakami). Discussion on various comet lists suggest that the comet is in outburst and may fade rapidly, but now is about magnitude 9.0.
Here's a nice one from the dynamic Ernesto Guido & Giovanni Sostero. Artyom Novichonok took this very nice image (in both cases the tail is easily visible), a more wideframe view from B. Leitner, and a delicate shot from Leonid Elenin.
There is some suggestion on the comet lists the 2010 V1 s like comet 17P. Links to ephemerides, spotters maps and Stellarium and Celestia files here. Links to ephemerides, spotters maps and Stellarium and Celestia files for 2010 V1 here.
