The Crescent Earth from Rosetta
The Crescent Earth as seen from the Rosetta spacecraft on November 13 (Image Credit, ESA)The Rosetta spacecraft, on its way to comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko did another flyby of the Earth-Moon system. This striking image of the crescent Earth is my favourite, but there is a number of images and an animation of the approach to Earth here.
