Images from an Occultation
One of the first rules in Occultation watching is "Don't sleep through your alarm". Unfortunately, I broke that rule. Fortunately, Smallest One woke me up around the time the occulation was about to finish by repeatedly poking me in the back.
So, after I put him back to bed I was able to rush outside. set up the scope ... and just miss Antares coming out from behind the Moon. *sighs expressively*
Anyway, here are some shots of Antares drawing away from the dark side of the Moon. Enjoy.
