Cloudy Partial Eclipse

Partially eclipsed Moon at 8:15 pm ACST, from Adelaide.

The cloud has thinned enough so that I can see the eclipsed Moon reasonably well, but it's still raining, so I can't get my telescope out.

Still, looks great through the cloud. You don't have to photograph something to appreciate it's beauty (just saw a Moonbow).

This is what I could manage. No clouds, but I don't have a telescope to attach to it either.

Nothing but clouds and rain in Ballarat, Ian - how long do I have to wait for the next one?!
cheers Andrew

There is a partial eclipse on April 25, 2013, but it's not good from the east coast. April and October 2014 have tow good total lunar eclipses.
